Galvanized Steel Coil and Sheet

Galvanized Steel gets coated in layers of zinc to avoid rusting. Galvanized steel is principally composed of zinc (most external layer) followed by a mixture of zinc and iron, with an interior of pure steel (Figure 1). These multiple layers support the steel to withstand corrosion-inducing circumstances. If rust does take hold on the surface of Galvanized steel Coil, the zinc will get corroded first. This allows the zinc that is spread over the breach or scratch to prevent rust from reaching the steel.

The hot-dip galvanized coil is produced by a hot-dip galvanizing process using a hot-rolled steel strip or a cold-rolled steel strip as a substrate. Hot-dip galvanized coils supplied in rolls are taken up. Mainly used in construction, home appliances, automobiles, containers, transportation and home business. Especially in the steel structure construction, automobile manufacturing, steel silo manufacturing and other industries.
